Topics include natural history of whales, dolphins, porpoises and cetaceans in B.C., threats to marine species and simple actions everyone can take to help conserve marine wildlife. May 8th, 2019: Naturalist Night Vancouver


Join the BCCSN on May 8th from 6-9pm to learn about the latest in local marine mammal research in preparation for the busy whale-watching season ahead. This is an excellent opportunity for ecotourism operators, naturalists, mariners, and scientists to network and get to know each other while learning about the latests in local cetacean research. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

This year, we will be featuring presentations by “The Marine Detective” Jackie Hildering, Dr. Anna Hall (Porpoise Conservation Society), killer whale expert Dr. Lance Barrett-Lennard, and more!
