Port of Kelsey Bay

Northeast Vancouver Island

Located within Vancouver Island’s Inside Passage, near the village of Sayward, the Port of Kelsey bay awaits your arrival. Killer whales and sea lions are visible in the Johnstone Strait from the newly restore wharf which includes an inclement weather, glass enclosure viewing room.

Take a half-mile jaunt from the wharf, past the village, and you’ll arrive at the mouth of the Salmon River. This estuary is home to migrating water fowl at different times throughout the year and is bird-watcher’s paradise.
